Dr. Steve Schwartz
Dr. Steve Schwartz attended Wichita State University and then graduated from what is now Newman University in 1978. He was the first optometry student from Newman accepted to Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated in with his Doctorate in 1982.
Dr. Schwartz joined West Wichita Family Optometrists in the summer of 1982. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Kansas Optometric Association, the Heart of America Contact Lens Society, and the Eye Care Council; Dr. Schwartz also participates in See to Learn. He enjoys all aspects of optometry and is licensed to diagnose and manage glaucoma and many other eye diseases. He also very much enjoys contact lens fitting and care.
When not working he enjoys spending time with his children, golfing, and is an avid outdoorsman.
