I called this morning with an urgent need and they were able to get me in the same day. I was immediately greeted with a smile when I walked in. Dr. Lamp took the time to listen, explain, and answer any questions that I had. He was very thorough and I left feeling that I had received excellent care. Thank you!

I am highly impressed with West Wichita Family Optometrists. Dr. Richmond was very thorough and answered every question and explained his answers.
The girl, Lena, that helped me select my frames and the other options was amazing.
I left there very happy and satisfied. I am sure WWFO will be my choice for Eyewear in the future.

If I could I would give you a rating of more than five stars concerning my visit on May 13, 2026. The response to my issue was outstanding! I had some kind of foreign material in my right eye that I was not able to flush out myself after four or so hours of trying. It was getting late in the day. I called into the office and asked if they could work me in to take a look at it. The desk staff, without hesitation, said come on in. Once I arrived, I was received in immediately, taken to the exam room for check in procedures, and Dr Richmond was able to break free and take a look. He removed a foreign object and I was all fixed up. Immediate relief! The time span from check in to all fixed up was maybe 5 minutes! That is amazing! Honestly, I have never received that quality of treatment anywhere before and I’m over 70 years old.
Thank you very much Dr Richmond and the entire staff for providing me with exceptional care on that day. You should all be very proud of yourselves.

As usual Dr. Lamp gave a thorough exam and explained what changes our eyes had. Definitely recommend this office.

I have been using this optometrist’s office for over 30 years. Started with Dr Herndon and now seeing Dr Becker. I would never leave. Their staff is excellent to work with. Everyone is very professional and they do everything they can to ensure you look great in your glasses.

My family has been going to West Wichita Family Optometrists for several years now. We really like Dr. Emrick, he is very thorough and kind. The office and exam rooms are always clean. They have plenty of frame options available to pick from. The assistants and admin team are all very friendly and accommodating. I'm able to schedule appointments and communicate through text which is convenient for my schedule.

I was seen right away. Staff friendly and helpful. Dr Richmond was wonderful. He took his time and explained my eye condition in detail so I could fully understand.

As usual Dr Lamp is great.

Have gone to this clinic since I was a child, now 51. Watched my doctor retire and got a new doctor. All I can say is Dr. Becker is amazing and she truly cares about her patients. Would highly recommend this clinic.

Everyone, from the initial receptionist to the young man that did the pre screening to Dr Richmond to the final check out, were over and beyond nice. All are caring, genuine, and yet professional. Very pleasant experience.

I didn't have my phone on me the day of my appointment. There was bad weather forecast and the office called to see if I wanted to change my appointment. I arrived for my 4:30 time and everyone was very professional and courteous, I'm sure they would have rather been on their way home but you couldn't tell that by how I was treated. It wasn't until I got home that I realized I could have changed times. Thank you for your professionalism.
