Patient Case

Retinal Detachment in Asymptomatic 28 Year Old

This patient presented to our office for a routine eye exam and update on her contact lenses. She had no idea that she had a partially-detached retina (lower right part of picture). She was referred out and surgery was successful. Without this early intervention and detection, she could have had significant loss of vision.

Medical image showing retina detachment circled in blue.
