Our #1 goal is to provide top-quality eye care services. Take a look at the photos and videos below featuring some of our most interesting cases.
Removal of Embedded Eyelash in Upper Conjunctiva
This patient presented with an uncomfortable eye. He had an eyelash that worked it’s way under his eyelid and got embedded under the skin.
Diabetic Retinopathy in a Patient Who Had Undiagnosed Diabetes
This 37 year old patient presented for a routine eye examination. Upon examination, it was detected that she had significant diabetic retinopathy in both eyes. She was referred to her Primary Care Provider who confirmed she had diabetes and started her on appropriate medication. Another reason why annual eye exams are important!
Retinal Detachment after Trauma
This patient was a young man who hit his head a month prior to our appointment. Four days prior to our appointment, he started seeing a black spot in his vision. This turned out to be a retinal detachment and he was sent off for surgery.
Retinal Detachment in Asymptomatic 28 year old
This patient presented to our office for a routine eye exam and update on her contact lenses. She had no idea that she had a partially-detached retina (lower right part of picture). She was referred out and surgery was successful. Without this early intervention and detection, she could have had significant loss of vision.
Macular Degeneration - Dry turned into Wet
This patient noticed a new spot in her vision in her right eye for 1-2 weeks. She had “dry” macular degeneration in both eyes previously, but the new spot was bleeding in the back of her right eye. This was caused by her dry macular degeneration converting to wet macular degeneration. We sent her out for immediate treatment to help preserve her vision.
